And How Was Your Day?

This is what happens when it rains: my tooth starts hurting necessitating a drive to the dentist in a downpour. Which means I get stuck in a terrible line of traffic because there has been a fender bender. Which means I try to take a short cut discovering if I had just waited, I could have been through the traffic in two minutes except I couldn't see around the SUVs. Which means I drive an additional ten minutes out of my way. Which means that a traffic camera goes off and I will be getting a ticket. Which means I arrive at the office with the pain miraculously gone. Which means the pain comes back as the dentist starts fucking with things but finds nothing wrong. Which means I leave the office in more pain that I was in when I entered with the entire day gone and nothing accomplished.

And how was your day?

And incidentally, was it in any way connected to the grey dreariness that accompanies rain?

Barren Advice coming later tonight.

Oh yes. I can totally relate to the whole traffic jam and trying to take an alternate route that takes longer. I know this will happen and try to force myself to just sit and wait but usually can not do it. As far as the toothache, not lately knock on wood. Hope it all feels better and the gray drearyness goes away.

Oh yuck. I am so sorry hun.
As for gray dreariness with rain, I WISH it was raining right now. I would gladly take a month of gray for some rain and cool weather.

Oh. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I hate driving a small car for that exact reason. You can never tell what the situation really is. Of course, I feel much better when I drive up to, get out, pump, pay, and drive away from a gas station while the SUV owner is still pumping, and pumping and pumping...
Oh, well.

And yes. Tooth pain sucks, esp. when the dentist can't seem to find anything wrong. So sucky! Sorry!

Sorry your day sucks. I have finally come to accept that I have been in a funk for the last 7 weeks and have no idea how to kick myself in the ass to get out of it.

Sorry for the crappy day. It does seem that whenever it rains, it pours. I hope tomorrow is better!!!

Yuck! I was trapped in a car with my mother-in-law and her advice for more than an hour today. And it has been raining here too.

But I was driving my mother-in-law to the airport and she is gone now, so things have improved significantly.

Oh, so sorry about your sucky, sucky day. Hope the rain clears up soon and the pain with it!

It is sunny today in the mile high city, but I've barely noticed as I've been trying to focus on not vomiting at work today (not complaining-really).

That's what you get for giving the mouse a cookie.

Smart-aleck-ness aside, I am sorry your day is crummy.

Hope your tooth needs no further attention. But if it does, I'll sing John Denver to you :-).

ugh. I have had days like that, when nothing seems to go your way... hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, yesterday I had a similar day...nothing seemed to be going my way. Today, so far, is a little better.

Yuck. Sorry that your day was sorta crappy, and that your tooth is hurty. Hope that tomorrow is a better day. :)

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty rough day. I tend to try other routes also. I always end up lost though. I keep telling myself to just stick with routes I know but I don't listen. LOL

I'm sorry about the tooth and the ticket! Did they at least give you something for the pain?

If not...the bastards!!

You know what they say (and who are they, anyway?), when it rains it pours (bad idiom, I know). Sorry you had such a crummy day! It was a rainy day here, too, which meant indoor recess, and that, of course, is hell.

Whoa!

So last Thursday I did a field trip with my 2nd grade class from hades, and two other classes-60 eight year olds. We go to a fancy historical site. There are lots of parents "chaperoning". My tooth aches all day. My allergies are going nuts because of the pollen bombs. The kids are nuts. Total ick.

So I rushed to the dentist after school, and he says I do NOT have a cavity. He shaves off some of the old filling and says it wasn't aligned with the bottom teeth. Huh? It still hurts when anything cold touches it. I'd almost bet there IS a cavity and they didn't see it! So frustrating...

I can totally relate.

Blech--sorry for that! We just had a storm pass through that made the temp drop 10 degrees..not feeling much like spring!
In my opinion, there is nothing quite as terrible as tooth pain--hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like the evil gods of denistry are up to no good. It is like that for me, too. I would blame it all on them. Even the traffic camera.
