Choose-Your-Own-Blog- Adventure: The Case of the Missing Trigger Shot

Was this the best use of my time last night? Perhaps not. But it made me really happy. Hopefully, all the story paths will work (I was a little tired and started forgetting whether or not Sharon knew certain information in each path). All I know is that there will be many more Choose-Your-Own-Blog-Adventure stories in the future because making this kicked ass. There are many possibilities, so keep returning to the beginning and going on a new adventure.

You know the drill--you get to choose Sharon Barren's destiny (because while it was always fun that the series was in second person, most of us have enough problems in our life without taking on those of Sharon Barren) in this choose-your-own-adventure post. At the end of each section, there is red text that contains two choices. Click on one and continue on your way until you hit the next set of choices. This post won't make sense unless you choose because the rest of the story is contained on different posts. You need to choose. Choose, damnit! You can always start over at the beginning and choose a new adventure.

A Sharon Barren Choose-Your-Own-Blog-Adventure: The Case of the Terrible Trigger Shot

Sharon Barren, five foot two and a ninja at heart, was driving home from her neighbourhood fertility clinic, IUI dreams dancing in her little head. Her E2 was 869 pg/ml and she was triggering that night. There had only been 3 follicles, which was less than what she wanted considering what she had gone through to make them, but it was better than the one mega follicle she had produced in past stim cycles.

She had enough time to treat herself at the local Starbucks and stop at home before she had to get to work. She wasn't sure she really needed the calories from a dulce de leche latte, but a treat sure sounded tempting...

You are absolutely brilliant--this was the funniest thing I've read in a while!

When I was about 11 and in Girl Scouts, one of my friends and I used to make up Choose-Your-Own-Adventure stories all the time. I loved them. Thanks for making me smile today!

I was VERY glad to see that the friend was killed with white mocha, not the 'regular' mocha. Otherwise, everytime I ordered mine I would start laughing... or be waiting for a friend to come blasting out of the bathroom to tell me they were pregnant! lol... phew! That was close ;)

LOVED IT!!!!

I read every single one of these choose-your-own adventure books that I could get my hands on as a kid. This brought back such sweet memories that I almost drove directly to your house and kissed you. (Lucky for you I don't know your address, but I considered just driving the streets of Montgomery County calling out your name.)

I love, love, love this idea. By far, my favorite part was when Ms. Obnoxious Pregnant Person got attacked and scalded by the white mochas at Starbucks. Brilliant!

More, please!

I loved the starbucks murder. That was hilarious! I just commented on someone else's blog today about how people monopolizing conversations with talk about their children (and ONLY their children) are really, really irritating.

Loved loved loved this!!! Who can do work when there's something this hilarious to distract me?? You made me crack up several times (A murder at Starbucks?? I would've been one of the lynchers, white mocha in hand). On a day when I have menstural cramps tauntimg me yet again, this is exactly what I needed.

Thank you!! More, please.
